Tolerance or just plain apathy.

So, I think I can tolerate almost everything and any kind of bad behaviour, and whatever retarded crap that comes my way, but what exactly does it mean to be tolerant. To tolerate is to allow the existence of something to occur, in this light me being tolerant doesn't exactly help anyone at all, and people just end up continuing what they did, in their insensitivity, in their jealousy, in their contempt and in their anger.

I need to start being more prominent. bold, and confident of myself and my moral compass, yes.

Today was just AWESOME, with E490! ohyeaah!

managed to catch ndp fireworks! wow! it was SPECTACULAR AND BREATHTAKING ANDD ALL GOOD IHTNGS IN ONE!

my eating patterns are really weird these days.. Ytd, skipped dinner, cos I had double lunch ^^ today, skkipped dinner again, well, had really yummy snacks which im sure is lots of fats xD no proper food though..

haha, going out is always fun!! :D wish i could do this everyday :P

So, today we marched. OH THE HORROR. x.x I'm just glad its over. Felt horrible up there. but pheww yay! Really hate marching forever and ever, will never grow to like it mann.

Then the celebrations was.. .well~ the norms, but 408 DIDNT WIN THE VIDOEO WHYY! ): i guess 407's was pretty awesome. oh mannn, the prizes were seriously "attractive"..! $50 BnJ vouchers, oh wells. Still have the ones we won in April, that are yet to be used.

NO LESSONS TILL THURSDAY. how awesome is thaatt! Other than geog makeup lessons which just have to spoil it all.. but I hope I enjoy this holiday!! :D woohoo! ~

SHINI TANN'S SWEET SIXTEENTH! <3 OHYEAH! hahaha, hope she's as happy as I am for her ^,^ She got a life-sized cutout board for her brithday from us retards! (nikki fiona jaz nic josh cy) The idea was totally insane and crazy, but that's the whole reason why we wanted it. :D 


So as usual, shini SCREAMED when she saw it, standard reaction. ahaha, but I can't believe she brought it home, CREEPY MUCH. imagine you staring at yourself in your room while you're a sleep, and maybe wake up in the middle of the night 
lawll. 


Lessons were pretty boring/tiring! slept through most of math and cell bio hehe ;P

This week as been total OMG-NESS insanity. Rushingout the SMP report like MAADD then getting people for sports day then catching up on homework and quizzes, oh man. one insane week. But im glad Im surviving!! and I will! through the week! okaay time for me to flip through chem notes for tmr's test! haha, shouldn't be too hard.. right xP

fwaah, haven't posted in the last .. 8 days!! so long..! oh mann, busyness much!Actually, no, it's just me being laz andnot coming here to post, which is bad, cos blogging hlpes me to reflect and straighten out my thoughts, perhaps that's why I've been feeling a little "messy" and crowded with thoughts and a little stressed up >< yes, must me.

So, it was a tuesday night, and I didn't go to school that day, cos I was feeling totally exhausted, and my body was aching liek madd,plus some headache. bad combi man, yupps. But it was a SURPRISINGLY PRODUCTIVE DAY chionged math phy chem and chemO assignments in ONE day, woaah. so proud of myself. HAHAH. Then I decided to go for Julia Ang's bday celebration! <3 tons of fun, chat chat eat eat laugh laugh laugh shoot shoot :p ahhaha! really enjoyed time with them, good destresser to end the day! So glad for these awesome sistaas in my  life <3 <3 really treasure them very much!! :D  and SHING is so epic as usual~~ 


EMERGEE...!! MAN,  the most fun fri-sat-sun spent in church !!! :D :D the city noose, natty performing and screaming our lungs out for her... that was EPICLY AWESOME. natty and jelly are so blessed to have such a happy family :) haha, really warms my heart seeing a family so close knitted, and like every single one of their siblings so close to each other, heartening . haha. they are so blessed. mmm, and NATTY IS JUST AMAZING. fwwaahh, her voice is super power, the pitch and the range too, woah. for someone younger than me, wow. so talented, and she's a cheerleader too! amazing. haha. Service during emerge was so AMAZING. really loved it so so much, deeply touched and moved by the word was taught. :) Show meYour Glory. :) and, a shocking fact, I SAW MS RENATA PERFORM ON STAGE, singing!!! infront of like.. 8000 ppl, woah. ahhaha so different from seeing her teach in class once a week ^^ and Mr Bernard Ricardo, on the word power in chc too! coincidence much! super pro! 
City noose was still the best skit ever, I swear. It was so amazingly GOOD and funny to the max!! "boy boy , ahha. laticia bery haapyy. " omg. lol. Higher band and loud camp band was good too !! (Y) 


The banners made were all put to FULL use, and it was all worth the LOTS LOTS LOTS of effort!! <3 truly we were making banners for the CHAMPION! :) not just any contestant.! And its super rewarding to see her so happy at the end, and everyone else too! :D woohoo haha .

Fact is, I haven't blogged in AGES. wait actually it's only been 5 days.. but that's long enough for me by any standards!! SOO MUCH has been going on lately, and well I've been pretty busy, so much that I feel life's just going zoom zoom zoom past me at the speed of light. Let me try to recall what HAS happened these past few days.. 

Friday= turned up late for schooll.. YOUTH DAY! ndp training, lots of random balloons, badges, angry bird. CGM! JUSTINES CARRR ;D woohoo. haha. 


Saturday= woke up late, again. :P got scammed to go sch.. meet nikki and all, hobo at woodlands mrt, watch shini's match, go to jurong point, SHOP AROUND, meet cg, eat dinner service, supper, end. 


Sunday= wokeup super early to gym, play KINECT! ;D, hang around, watch old starwars movie, eat yummy taiwan food :P, to leisure park, kfc, transformers,meet tann, and.... TO HENDERSON WAVE! ;D for super fun connect group outing, <3 talk talk, jump around, lie on the FLOOR hangupside down. ahha. pickup lines, retarded crapp. and we're barbarians! ohyeah. 


MONDAY= wokeup , macs bfast, rushed to sch to meet mr chiam, meh, ate lunch, went to woodlands to watch match, so excitingg!! ;), come home.. and yeah, sleep like a pig, stone around. eat dinner, stone more. and NOW IM HERE. yay. i can actually rmb what I did, amazing. x) 


I really hoped that this youth day would be like an extra holiday for me to chill, relax and get myself back into "school mode" but guess not, been going out so much I've hardly got any time for myself, and it has indeed been getting pretty exhausting, but I love it all the same. Hopefully i'll be able to have an early night today and get rested up for a full force day of lessons ahead. and COACH ROSE'S TRAINING haha, i'm soo gonna die, yay me time ot burn off some of that fats i've accumulated over the weekend. yeah man. :D 


I HAVE YET TO TOUCH ANY HOMEWORK THIS WHOLE HOLIDAYS, AT ALL. yay me.

can't wait to see everyone in school again, kinda sad that I didn't get to join the class for their outing, the SECOND ONE i ponned. heh whoops... but it was worth it (: for the match and supporting shini tann :D haha.

So.. three days of school have passed, and I HAVE SURVIVED THEM! pretty well i guess.. not falling asleep THAT much :P apart from math and chinese lessons. I really wonder what will make me listen during chinese... Whenever its chinese class I immediately just switch off my brain. Literally, drift into lalaland, thinking about what i'm gonna eat if its break next.. thinking about what I could be doing rather than rotting away in this class.. or staring out the window,checking out what other people are doing, having much more fun than me, definitely. 

At the same time I don't wanna fail my o level chinese and just screw myself over by taking H1 chinese, that would defnitely be my greatest nightmare, EVER. And he said those who got a B3 are in danger, yeapp. me right here. ANYHOW, i shall stay optimistic, and believe that my current shallow chinese knowledge and standard will be ENOUGH to take me through the exam at the end of this year! or maybe I should really start trying to improve my chinese, speaking more? reading more? YES. if only I had the discipline... 


let's blog about school, i like school, I like seeing everyone back in class again, I like getting to talk to so many people around me :D I like joking around and being totally crazy and doing stupid stuff, like screaming at almost every single thing ^^ 


Monday: mehh, didn't really feel like the start of school, SO LITTLE lessons many released early, guess everyone wasn't in the mood yet HEH. but wheee~ :D no chem, and 40 mins of release early time wohoo life is awesome x) NIKKI BROUGHT RAINBOW CUPCAKES!! ;D they tasted so yummy, and looked 103985098 times cooler!! 


Tuesday: it was like, REALITY CHECK, WAKE UP, SCHOOL HAS STARTED, EARTH TO DEBB. the day i dreaded 3 friggin hours of math?! seriously HOW DOES ANYONE IN THE RIGHT MIND SURVIVE THAT. haha, it was quite bearable in the end actually, I can now proudly say I HAVE survived 3h of math, with MINIMAL sleeping heh. :P then.. 2h of bio in the afternoon.. that was pretty tiring, bio is ALWAYS tiring, cos I actually HAVE to listen to EVERYTHING. :/ requires much concentration. haha. 


Wednesday (today!): today was pretty slack, AND THE FREE HUGS BEAR was in school! :D haha, that was so cutee, andd HELIUM BALLOOONS :D so awesome, hell yeah. meade me sound like a chipmunk. lolol. ENGLISH IS SO AWESOME with our new teacher :P yayaye. chinese, meh switch off and complete waste of time for me as usual, so what's new.. and math was just revision.. SMP afterwards! yay, we are finally succeeding in something. :)

BORN AGAIN. :)

woohoo, soo.. Yesterday.. cos its past midnight..  I got water baptized! yayay. Really indeed, today is a significant day in my walk with the Lord, a declaration of my faith, one that's strong and unwavering, a conviction, something worth fighting for, our God. Definitely. :D

what the future may hold...

I'm excited for this year, and all the events ahead..! can't wait to see what and how it will make faraday different and better and more high and mroe fun :P

last day of school holiday, technically..

whee, i'm starting to like the start of school, time to use my brain again and have lessons, rather than just exercising and rotting my life away and eating and sleeping like a pig. yes definitely good. But we're not getting ik for english anymore D: boohoo, she was so awesome. wonder what's up with the swap with 409.. O:

So, I plan to save LOTS LOTS LOTS of money now that school starts.. let's see how much I can save..

Allowance: $220 for 4 weeks.. If I save $100 a month, left with $120.. $30 a week, hmm not too bad, good target.

July August Sept.. then I will recover my GSS spendings yay!LOL.

weekend:$8, $22/5= approx $4++ a day woah! that's a lot. that can buy... 2 fruits 1 drink 1 meal. YAY=$3.40 hahaha. okay say one more drink... or 1 bottled drink WOOHH. this is good.

That is soo gonna be by target for term 3! :D

Lessons... somehow I am kind of looking forward to them omgosh this is so weird... After letting my brain rot for too many days studying seems pretty okay now. Really so fortunate to be in NUS High man... NO O LEVELS TO STUDAY FOR ! OHYEAH. :P

If you do something continuously for more than 21 days it becomes a habit. WHO KNEWW. imma start doing certain good things for 21 dasy straight so it becomes natural. ahhaha

Wow, time passes so fast! :) THE HOLIDAYS SERIOUSLY JUST FLEW BY! four weeks?! indeed time flies when you're having fun... x) wayy too much fun, and spending waay too much money. Term time i'm gonna have to save LIKE MADD to make up for the damage man,. x,x yikes. time to bring food from home again :p 


So... As most NUSH ppl know.. SEM 2 TIMETABLE IS OUT! ooh the horror.. lessons are starting, stress is gonna come, sleep is gonna be a luxury, and i'll be facing papers all day again! JIAYOUS EVERYONE FOR NEXT SEM! take these few days to really relax and gear up for sem 2! the FINAL SEM OF CRAZYNESS!! :) we'll make it through~ pia all the way! :D this is gonna make us stronger!

LOUD CAMP pt 2

I know this is seriously lagged, and outdated, like.. way back in time. But I really want to make an effort to REMEMBER this camp well!! :D Because it was really the best camp that I've ever been to and the best camp experience that I've ever had, and I want to make this happen for others too. soo.. Yes! LOTS TO LEARN. 


Day 1
-Arrived 
-CHEERS! 
-put our bags in the dorms 
-MORE CHEERS! intro.. etc.
-Lunch
-Station Games!: walking up and down hills... running from place to place, throwing stuff with our tshirts, "wakeboarding" on soapy water :D OHYEAH, lifting a bucket of water, with string, uhh.. what else.. ooh the catch-drop game, river crossing, the epic climbing up the hill. 
-CHEER AGAIN! 
-ANGRY BIRDS..! IN REAL LIFE! this game was TOTALLY barbaric man. Got pinched and punched and pushed around D: ouch. and got hit by many "angrybirds" which were water bombs lol. OOMBAKA WON! WOOHOO! epic game. 
-dinner : MADRUSHH>>!
-wash up
-SERVICE! with pst Aries, about what are the 5 most important things to youth today. x) pretty good stuff man. 
-back to talking/slacking with our cell grps and such.. 
-slept at 1 am x) 


Day2: funfilled day!!

-SERVICE! : the power of confession, this was really inspiring to me, when.. cat shared her testimony of her life story, and how she has changed for the better :)

-RUSHHOUR! 28 stations in 1 hour! haha that was crazy man, some really disgusting games were played too..! 
-BATTLE GAMES! wasn't there for this one, cos I was taking care of tiffany, but it seemed pretty fun. 
-mass legged race! oombaka totally failed at this, cos we're so big :P 
-EPIC OF MOST EPIC TELEMATCH! rolling in soysauce and flour,eating lettuce, getting dizzy,  shampooing our hair to get foam, melting 2 megahuge giant blocks of ice, and finally the bridge! OUCH! brendaaa hahaha, almost broke my back i sware man xP but at least i'm fine now. 
-CELEBRATING OUR TELEMATCH WIN..!! + PLAYING IN THE WATER WITH E490!! AHHAHAH it was so so so much funn..!! Splashing everyone and getting splashed, and doing cheers in the water together as a house, seriously like barbarians man. woohoo, for the first time ever they flew me up! ahah, it was SOO FUNN! i totally didnt know i was gonna go so high up x) then landing in the water very very fun. and I HAVE A PICTURE OF IT! LOL! 
-night devotion back at the quarry, this super nice place, with a huge "mountain" and a large clearing. It really made me feel so... disconnected from the world, and so much well like in the wilderness. love it man :D really awesome devotion, about humbling ourselves. :) 
-sharing with each other, about what we received from the Lord
-NO SLEEP!! PARTAYYEE! snacked and ate and talked and talked more... ACTION NO 59! and .. MINI TOONS! HAHAHA. hilarious time. :P
-went to sleep at 4.30am? :D

OMG OHYEAAH! 

Day 3 ! : noo why does it have to end.. 

-breakfast. for the last time.. 

-gathered at the.. hall? i think? for some cheers!! :D 

-ooh then we did the RECORD BREAKING! woohoO! we broke 2 records!

something like that.. this one was very funny, cos we couldn't drop the frisbee, and there were like... 300 of us. it seemed to be over faster than I expected though. the limbo was funny! ;D 

-back to pack up our dorms... and then to dinner... 

-SERVICE?! yes, that's right.... yupps. by Wayne! love to hear him preach man, cos its always really good. Then he too shared his life story, well kinda. and it was very touching. :) haha. then we made a declaration together, that we are part of the "fellowship of the unashamed" and it was about living out our destiny for the Lord. and how much we are willing to follow Christ. 

Though none go with me, I still will follow. No turning back, no turning back. 

-THE SKITT..!!! HAHA, THE NINJA'S DID AN AWESOME JOB MAN! for their "City Noose" skit! those actors/actresses were really SUPER EXTREMELY HIGHLY FUNNY!

-then the enddd...!! hahha everyone started jumping around like mad people ..!! i was seriously high, high on god knows what man, hahaa then the leaders were body surfing zomg never seen that before, but yeaaahhh woahh!!

This is really such a nice song, with beautiful lyrics that touched my heart :) highlighted in bold are the words that stand out to me, and yeah, speak to my heart at this moment. 
1. I really want to serve God in a greater way, and for His glory.

3. I need to speak and confess more, His promises, everyday. It really doesn't hurt, all it takes is a few extra minutes, on the bus, when i'm at home etc. etc. to please God and to wait upon Him.

Humility and Patience

You Must go down, in order to go Up.  


I like that phrase, from the loud camp. It was really a reminder to me, not to let the good achievements, nice comfortable life and my position get the better of me. But instead to be humble, and serve others sincerely. That's what truly makes a good leader, imo.  One who doesn't just lead people because they want to win, or because it has to be done, but one who leads to touch others' lives and make it better/happier for them. That selfless attitude of servanthood and inconveniencing myself for others, need to learn to have that more often.. rather than just thinking of myself all the time, and how much fun I could have, joining in all the noise and the craziness. but instead stop, think and look to see who are those around me who truly need a helping hand and are in need :) 


That's one of the major takeaways from LOUD camp! to be more humble, and gentle patient and willing to serve others more. :) I'm always in a rush to get things done, to do things fast, good and efficient, that sometimes I miss out on making sure, that those around me are alright. I miss out on the journey, and the process because I'm so fixed on the goal in mind, its time for me to pause for a moment and appreciate those around me for what they have done. :) 


woohoo, and also I realise my ego can be pretty huge at times.. :/ but I CHOOSE LOVE <3 above all, above everything, to love one another <3 i'm not just saying it.. for the sake of it... but as a reminder to myself.

OH NO. LONG TIME NO SEE.

suppz, I think i've been neglecting this blog.. :/ haven't blogged since TUESDAY! OMGOSH. so long agoo...! boohoo. It seems like i'm really well occupied these days... especially weekends. LIKE TODAY. HAHA. 


I think i've laughed so much my abs come out liao, nahh no way. hahaha. spent the whole day with my best sister... SHIYING OR....! <3 seriously hilarious time, ESPECIALLY WITH JULIA ANGG. we shoot each other like mad, really talk rubbish the whole time, but it was so fun man! :D 


then service, fellowship and WOOH the end of the day... Hm... I shall recap my week.. 


MON: loudcamp!
Tues: loudcamp! 
Wed: woke up late, SMP(got scammed LOL), yoghurt n sashimi dinner 
Thurs: go to adelphi to buy headphones at JABEN, WATCH GREEN LANTERN!! which was kinda mediocre man... 
Fri: SMP (scammed, again. D: ), swim a few laps, SP library for fun, clementi macs for dinner
Sat: craptalking and laughing with SHING N JULIA!, service, fellowship ENDD! 


whee~ wow, my week has seriously been VERY WELL OCCUPIED! 


AND BEEN SEEING MY CELL GROUP EVERYDAY LOL. 


yay! love spending time with them always! <3 though recently.... CERTAIN people have been pretty annoying. HAHA. 

OMBAKAA AH AH AH!! ;D

OH MY GOSHH!! LOUD CAMP WAS SO MUCH MUCH SO MUCH SO SO SO MUCH FUN, EXCITEMENT AND EVERYTHING GOOD...!!  


I really can't believe that it was only 3 DAYS long, because we had TOO MUCH fun and excitement to contain and the new things that I have learnt and experienced are definitely worth way more than just 3 days. IT TRULY WAS A LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE for me.  :) 


So now on to what exactly happened during those 3 days. I really want to blog this because these 3 days are moments and memories that I never ever want to forget! 


So, the camp was at Dairy Farm adventure centre, this super duper ULU PLACE that is right next to the jungles and a quarry. When my mom drove us there, and I saw the long winding path into the jungles I just freaked out... 1. There's gonna be LOTS of bugs 2. It's gonna be dark and staring into a pitch dark forest  at night is beyond scary. 3. The place isn't going to be very clean x.x yikes. 


So.. joseph, peng my bro and I got off the car, and went in, the campsite didn't seem too bad. To my surprise it was actually quite new. :) 


The part Iwas most excited for in loud camp was... LEARNING THE CHEERS...!! It's called LOUD camp for a reason, and that is EVERYONE IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE SILENT BEFORE LIGHTS OUT. EVERYONE WAS SUPER CRAZY AND NOISY AND LOUDD TTM!!! 


Another reason I wanted to learn new cheers was so FARADAY can have more awesome and new-er cheers to UP UP UP our house spirit and get eveyrone cheering even more and better than before!! OHYEAHHH!! ;D 


so... skip skip skip. 


The cheers were really VERY FUNNY, EXTREMELY FUN, CATCHY and a JOY to cheer to!! :) All the team leaders and house ICs and people who came up with those cheers are really WOAH super imba!! :) 


I shall not post the cheers here, I think nobody will understand what i'm typing, it'll porbably look like gibberish, but when chaanted and sccreamed at the top of our lungs together as a house, it was MINDBLOWING.
