BASKETBALL, IN THE SLIPPERY RAIN!

hey there, 


today was SUCH AN AWSHUMM DAY! from the start till the end, i loved every single waking hour of it ! :) hahaha, that's kind of an exaggeration, but kinda!! the only thing that wasn't cooperating was the WEATHER! D; whyyy did it have to rain when we wanted to play basketball. the court was all slippery and meh, but IT WAS STILL FUN!! ;) hahah. first time playing with Wei Qiang, and VINCENT and... xuhua and wang shen! ahah the last 2 ppl are super pro, shots all super accurate! owned everyone like siao lah, all the 3 pointers by xuhua esp. OMG. 


All I did was random around, but today at least i've learnt how to shoot properly! Well kind of, I finally understand the basketball way of shooting. lol. and kind of learnt how to layup,  THOUGH I STILL FAIL AT IT. haiz.. slowly learn i guess.. :/ 


basketball is so much cooler than netball :X lol, as in to watch, but I still prefer playing netball cos I know how to play it , at least better than bball. Don't understand the play at times.. BUT I SCORED A FEW GOALS TODAY YAy! HAHAH. playing in the rain is pretty funny, ESPECIALLY when the court is SLIPPERY zomg hahah WQ dribble dribble, want to layup then WOOAAHHH slide across the court.. it was super funny to watch. 


and VINCENT kept blocking me D:< boo. haha. 2 of us were like the noisy sound effects when the rest of the guys were playing. haha. I love spending time with everyone in E490 <3 you guys are the best man!! :) 


After went for dinner at tiong barhu plaza, felt a little feverish, like the "overheated" feeling. and I HAD 2 DINNERS super hungryy!! no idea why, i just wasnt full, so I kept eating. and eating... xP pigg me. AND NOW, i'm still hungry after 2 dinners.. ohnoo... this is badd.. :/ 


yeah ,today was awesome and tmr, netball training, smp and maybe prayer meeting after, it's a wonderful life x)

I think that this is a very nice verse. especially the second part of it.. which is, to rejoice to pray and to give thanks, in ALL circumstances, not just when things are going well, not just when my spirits are up and when I feel like it. It means all the time, when I face disappointment and rejection, pray for a miracle, and Give thanks, that God has better things in store for me in the future, that this is not the end yet, that the best is still ahead of us. :D

This song pretty much sums up what we learnt at svc today! <3 such an awesome song, and yeah man, really encounters with God that let us see Him, face to face is really the ultimate experience, and to feel His love for us once again, nothing else in the world like that! 

g else 1st verse, God knows our ways, and he has searched us, every single tiny little corner or insignificant detail we think nobody knows about, or a secret side of us that we don't show to anybody else, God knows. All of us, all. And yet, he still excepts us, as His Child, what other greater love could there be in this world. 


We say, when we get to know each other better, the more ugly we see, the more we don't want to know about that somebody, But god does the opposite. When we're down and out, when we're desperate for a change in our lives' that is where His love can come in and fill us and change our whole outlook in life. Give us hope love joy and faith :) YEAH Heeee. that's all for now :) turning in~ 


GNIGHTS!

It starts from within

Everday, in and out day to day we all face challenges, we face problems, things don't go how we'd like it to or according to planned, and I get pissed and upset and my mind gets blundered or messed up or wtv, and all I want to do is scream at the first person I see and blame the rest of the world for what's happening to ME, but is that really true? 

Is everything happening, BECAUSE of someone else, or could it just be me... Since the only common denominator, problem after problem. fight after fight. is actually only me. Maybe it's time for me to change the way I see things, maybe then there will be a change in my life. Porbably. but it all starts with me, a small step of courage, with a heart of passion. That's the kind of leader I want to be, caring, responsible,compassionate, accountable for, resourceful, able to adapt, efficient and most importantly, an inspiration to all. :) 


I know i've fallen short in many of thsoe areas, especially reponsibility :X heh, but I'm really learning and trying my best to work on that. Do I want to keep leaving things behind? Who'd want to lose their handphone, again and again, wallet, misplaced, time and time again. Nobody wants all that trouble, thing is my mind isn't cooperating with me at all D: so trying to remember where I put my stuff actually takes effort on my part. sucks to be me i guess, but that's how i am D: unfortunately...

TODAY'S SERVICE WAS REALLY SO AWESOMEEZZZXCZCXZC. like, beyond words, unexplainable. Life changing, convicting and yeah, well all the good stuff. What a way to end the day. so I shall get straight to the sermon... it was PST KONG preaching today. yay!! :D finally aft MIA for 4 weeks, haha. I kind of forgot the title of the message, but I shall just call it the story of old Abraham.

E490!! <3 yay, 7 more days to loud camp!! excitedddd!

GET FAT, GET FIT. WHICH ONE? LOL.

HELLOOO 


I'M FINALLY BACK?! hahah, after going missing for 3 days from NETBALL GET FAT/FIT CAMP! i think germ was the one who said we'll get fat instead of get fit.. Really awesome camp, cos I got to know the seniors+ juniors so much better. People like... julie june, and sandy, haha, okay at least I got to know ALL the names of the Y1 netballers :P 3 days 2 nights of training, fun, madness and pigging out pretty much summarizes the whole camp. 


Day 1
We arrived in school EARLY in the morning at 8am, placed our bags in the room and immediately got ready for training. Oh, before that Ms Teh gave her SPEECH. yupps. Starting the camp with training was kinda like.. mehh. I was tired and sleepy at that time. So wasn't really looking forward to training, but once we started training it was alright. COS THE WEATHER WAS SUPER GOOD, and windy. I wore socks that were too low, and ended up getting cut by my netball shoes. TIME FOR NEW ONES!! my netball shoe is seriously "well used" I think 70% of the sole has worn off ... but no money D: sighh.. Shall save up first. 


Training was useful and good, I'm starting to like this coach, finally a coach who gives LOGICAL advice that all of us can understand.. *ahem* lol, yeah. I really think e can improve more under her. :) looking forward to that. I am still not used to the fact that I'm already IN A DIV !  SO OLD! GOSH. I really want to play for the carnival, but there's LOUD CAMPPP!! THE MOST EXCITING CAMP EVER! So, I guess its worth the miss :) 


We had some hostel food with crappy uncooked rice for lunch... the rice seriously spoilt my appetite man. And I thought hostel food was good... I guess apart from the rice it is. 


Team bonding games after on day 1..? hahah. that one was quite funny, dropping a cookie down one story without breaking it. Interesting game, never played it before. But we got owned by the juniors.. D: throw face. lol, its just a game anyway. so the winner got a box of famous amos. The best part about netball camp was all the prizes man.. :) 


Then... A div was supposed to have PT session while the juniors had training, but... WE DIDN'T WANT TO!
